Es empleado metaf\u00f3ricamente, es decir, para dar una mejor expresividad al significado de la palabra.\n\nEn este sector offshore, que en castellano se le ha dado el calificativo de\u00a0\u201cextraterritorial\u201d,\u00a0 entran muchos productos financieros como cuentas bancarias, p\u00f3lizas de seguros, inversiones inmobiliarias, fondos de inversi\u00f3n, entre otros.\n\nCon el tiempo, se fue restringiendo el uso del t\u00e9rmino a determinados tipos de negocios, debido a que para poder referirse a una aut\u00e9ntica inversi\u00f3n extraterritorial, deb\u00eda producirse en un pa\u00eds que ofreciera determinadas ventajas con relaci\u00f3n al propio lugar de residencia.\n\nActualmente se habla de beneficios fiscales, facilidad de tr\u00e1mites para constituir sociedades, leyes estrictas de privacidad o de secretos bancarios, entre otros. Las condiciones a las que se hace referencia se dan en los llamados \u201cpara\u00edsos fiscales\u201d y que, debido a su connotaci\u00f3n negativa, pasaron a autodenominarse jurisdicciones o centros financieros offshore.\n\nPanam\u00e1, como sector offshore con servicios desarrollados para toda la industria alrededor de otros territorios de baja tributaci\u00f3n, ofrece los siguientes elementos clave:\n<ul>\n \t<li>Leyes aplicables: Ley 32 de sociedades an\u00f3nimas, decreto legislativo No. 5 y la Ley 25 para fundaciones de inter\u00e9s privado de Panam\u00e1.<\/li>\n \t<li>Estructuras legales m\u00e1s utilizadas y para transacciones internacionales: Sociedades an\u00f3nimas o sociedad offshore y fundaciones de inter\u00e9s privado.<\/li>\n \t<li>No establece un capital m\u00ednimo que se deba aportar ni ning\u00fan plazo en que deba ser cancelado.<\/li>\n \t<li>Ning\u00fan impuesto sobre cualquier transacci\u00f3n o actividades mercantiles producidas fuera de Panam\u00e1 ni por ingresos de origen extranjero.<\/li>\n \t<li>Tasas anuales al gobierno: Tasa \u00fanica anual de US$ 300 para sociedades, independientemente del capital social; y US$ 400 para las fundaciones de inter\u00e9s privado.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Offshore es un t\u00e9rmino anglosaj\u00f3n usado en el lenguaje financiero para describir cualquier actividad comercial o inversi\u00f3n, que se realiza fuera del propio pa\u00eds de residencia.
